Describing Piri Weepu.
It was windy as I looked out from the stadium to see Piri Weepu...
Piri Weepu is feirce like a lion when he is doing the haka.He has got some ta moko on his arms and around his body. He leads the haka like he is a warrior. Mr Weepu also looks like a powerful leader when he is doing the pukana. He also has good hand movements while doing the haka. Do you know that Piri Weepu’s full name is Piri Awahou Tihou Weepu? He was born on the 7th of September 1983.
Did you know that Piri shaved his beard and put it on trade-me to get money and give the money to a little girl that had brain tumor? I think that Piri strives to work his very best. Mr Weepu trained even though he had a broken leg. When he is playing he defends the opposition and bulldozes through like a rhino to get past them. He is a good athlete because he leads the haka and he trains every day.

When he is playing he is angry and serious, when he is off the field he is calm and proud of himself.
